Why I choose to freeze my eggs

Having a family has always been incredibly important to me. Unfortunately, my career was in the driver seat for the first 10 years after graduating college. Being the daughter of a doctor, I was made all too aware of the fact that my aging eggs could potentially jeopardize my plans to have a family. Having a family was something that I could not life without, but how was I to balance this against my blossoming career?

I did a lot of research and several of the fertility clinics I contacted advertised egg freezing. It all seemed a little too science fiction. I just didn’t seem to know much about it. However, I as dug into it, egg freezing became a more viable option. Why shouldn't I take control of my destiny and plan ahead? Wouldn't that be the prudent thing to do?

After carefully researching several clinics, I finally selected one that was very experience and focused on egg freezing. Not only were they experts, but they allowed to me network with others that had gone through or was planning on going through the process. Whew...it was great finding others. Now I'm able to focus on finding the right situation before starting a family. The pressure caused by time has been alleviated.

If you’re over 30 and single or focused on your career you must consider this now. I promise that this "insurance policy" will change your life. You will NEVER regret having frozen eggs. I know that my partner will thank me for it!

What Others are Saying

Does anyone know how

Does anyone know how extensive egg freezing is? What does it entail? Is it painful? How invasive is the procedure? What are the costs?

Thanks.

Having a family has always

Having a family has always been incredibly important to me as well. Unfortunately, it was not my career that is responsible for my current single status. Like many others, I just can't find the right man. I am a thirty year old woman and have yet to find my baby daddy. All too aware of my limited supply of eggs, I began to consider freezing them before they all ran out. I didn't know where to start and was referred to this site by a friend of mine. Through Fertility Guide, I researched my options, contacted experts, read testimonials, and networked with other women who have gone through the process. After careful consideration and tons of research, I am confident that I made the right choice. Thank you, my fertility guide, for allowing me the freedom to set my own biological schedule.
